Sara manages the operation of the Campus Services units: Printing & Duplicating Services, Publications & Graphics, Mail Services, Convenience
Copiers, Central Stores and Central Receiving. She oversees the financial
planning and supervision of all units. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and
Accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant. She has been employed by
the University in Campus Services for 20 years.

I’ve been in printing for 30 years now, I guess you can call me a
dinosaur of printing.
I started in high school for the school newspaper, I’ve pretty much been in
every avenue of printing, from setting type for the old letter presses,
taking photos, stripping negatives, working in darkrooms, printing sales,
graphic equipment sales, and still from time to time I troubleshoot for some
of the younger printers that need some assistance from the dinosaur.
Not to forget I’ve been around a press or two.
For now I’m working on making the print shop greener, if not totally green.
Its a long road but I do see light at the end of the tunnel. When I do find time for myself I enjoy fishing, travel, Texas holdem poker,
and helping my wife landscaping our yard.

Patty holds a BS in journalism from the U of I Urbana-Champaign. She
joined the Campus Services department in 1990 as a typesetter when she
decided she didn’t want to be a newspaper reporter after all (oops!) She’s
had a hand in creating every kind of printed project on campus, from the
smallest business card to the PAC entry mural. She’s the primary designer
each month for Illinois Issues magazine, and also keeps their website up to date.

Nathan is Graphic Design Associate in campus services. The junior
member of the design team, his responsibilities include creating graphic
identifiers, marketing/recruitment pieces, event photography, and working
closely with clients to meet their design needs. In his free time, Nathan,
enjoys traveling, hiking, photography, and quoting Arrested Development.
