Introduction

Scanning and storing electronic documents is a more efficient and less costly alternative to copying and storing paper files. Electronic documents can be archived in a network drive, easily accessible to anyone who is granted access. Finally, a high quality scanner will “index” your electronic files, allowing you to perform a keyword search on any word contained within that document.
