“Tie One On For Safety/Drunk, Drugged, Driving Month Information Table
Wednesday, December 7, 2016, PAC Concourse
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Started in 1986, Tie One On For Safety is MADD’s longest running and most visible public awareness project. The name, Tie One On For Safety, comes from the phrase “tie one on,” which is slang for getting drunk. But MADD uses the phrase to remind everyone that driving and driving don’t mix. http://www.madd.org/drunk-driving/how-you-can-help/tie-one-on-for-safety.html
