    • Megan O’Dell (B.A. 2015) Reporter and Anchor-WAND-NBC
    • Ken Pacha (M.A. 2015) is a Co-Host at Hip Hop Hump Day on WQNA 88.3
    • Daymon Killiman (M.A. 2014) begins classes in the MA in English Digital Pedagogy this fall.
    • Angela White (M.A. 2013/B.A. 2012) obtained a position as Judicial Intern for The Honorable Judge Kim L. Kelley. She’s in law school and also is writing a book about baseball recruiting reform in Latin America.
    • Erica Cullens ( M.A. 2014) was recently recognized for her success in her second-year of the national Whitney M. Young Scholar program.
    • Carley Reynolds (M.A. 2014) presented a paper at the University of Illinois Communications Collaboration Conference, Fall 2013, in Urbana.
    • Ashley Henry ( B.A. 2014) is The Journal (UIS campus newspaper) Editor-in Chief.
    • Zach Bright (B.A. 2013) is a master’s student and Teaching Assistant in Communications at San Diego State University.
    • Christina Martinez (M.A. 2006) is the founder and CEO of Adelante Public Affairs and Communications. Martinez returned to campus and spoke at UIS recently to the Organization of Latin American Students.
    • Melanie Reinhardt (2005) is working as a Communications Specialist in the marketing department at Southwestern Illinois College.
    •  Kathryn L. Blum is an Associate Director of Planning & Policy Analysis at the University of Illinois Foundation.
