2009 Commencement
The 38th UIS commencement ceremony was held May 16, 2009, at the Prairie Capital Convention Center. Dr. Matthew Holden, Jr., the first Wepner Distinguished Professor in Political Science in the College of Public Affairs and Administration, was the commencement speaker.
