Blackboard Collaborate at UIS – Elluminate
Common Problems
- If you use Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 or 2010, you must be sure to save your PowerPoint in the .pptx format. If you do not use the .pptx format, Elluminate will not let you upload your file to the Whiteboard.
- Application Sharing or Desktop Sharing: If your students complain that they cannot see an application that you’ve shared with them, please watch this video.
- You must use the latest update of Java version 6. If you’ve upgraded to version 7, Blackboard Collaborate will not load on your computer.
- Do NOT use Google Chrome to access a Blackboard Collaborate session or recording; the session will not load.
