The New Century Learning Consortium will assist with the implementation of high quality, large-scale online and blended learning programs at a limited number of small and mid-sized colleges and universities. This initiative will begin with seven charter institutions which are committed to developing vigorous online and blended learning initiatives to expand the student base and stabilize enrollments.

NCLC is funded by a generous grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and is affiliated with the Sloan Consortium.

Joining the NCLC Ning is free and provides a wealth of resources including Faculty Forums and a certificate in Emerging Practices and Technologies in Online Learning.
