Knowledge, accuracy, and problem-solving skills are required for CLS students.
These
attributes depend on a firm foundation in math,
chemistry, and biological sciences, followed by education in the clinical
areas of hematology, chemistry, immunohematology (blood banking), microbiology,
and immunology.
In addition, familiarity with the use of computers and good organizational skills are required.
