1st                     College advisors send email to remind students of spring/summer graduation application deadline

15th                   Transition list due back from UAAC.  Office Support Specialists begin inputing advisors for transitioning students.

March

1st                     OSS should have advisors in Banner.

First week         College advisors begin intake process for new summer and fall transfer students and schedule mandatory advising appointments for transitioning students.

Second week    Online coordinators focus on summer/fall admission and advising

Mid-month        Summer/fall schedule available. 

College advisors send ongoing communcation email to continuing students.  Schedule advising appointments for previously transitioned students who were required to continue mandatory advising for a second semester.

April

First week         Summer/fall registration for continuing students

Second week    Summer/fall registration for new students

May

Mid-month        College advisors touch base with new summer and continuing students.  Remind them of the start of the semester, that they should register if they haven’t already done so, and that they should purchase books.  Also, remind summer graduates to complete the graduation application.

June – July      Summer semester

August

1st                     College advisors touch base with new fall and continuing students.  Remind them of the start of the semester, that they should register if they haven’t already done so, and that they should purchase books.
