Payment of Fees: Pay Online When You Register!
You will be able to pay your bill electronically at the time you register; just follow the on screen directions. Valid MasterCard, VISA, and Discover credit cards are acceptable toward payment of tuition and fees.
Registration
Already a UIS Student?
If you are re-enrolling after attending credit classes at UIS within the previous two semesters, complete the online registration and payment of fees at the website: http://www.uis.edu/registration. Remember, you will be able to pay your bill directly online by following the on screen directions at this site.
If you have not taken credit courses before at UIS or have not enrolled for the previous two semesters, you must first be admitted to the University before you can register for the course. Complete the UIS application form online as either a non-degree seeking student (if you are not pursuing a degree) or as a degree seeking student (if you are completing a degree); it is available at the website: http://www.uis.edu/admissions. Submit a $40 application fee ($60 if you are a graduate student) when you submit your application.
Once admitted to UIS, you will be able to register at the website: http://www.uis.edu/registration. You will have to obtain a NetID in order to register and can do by following the directions at this site. This ID will allow you to access the online course.
If You Qualify as a Senior Learner
For degree credit, a tuition waiver program is available for persons 62 or older with incomes of less than $21,000 per year. This program allows senior learners age 62 and over to earn undergraduate or graduate credit by paying only UIS fees; tuition is waived.
A limited number of enrollments may be available for senior learners interested in taking this course; if you are a "senior learner" and are interested in registering for this course, please call Holly McCracken at 217/206-7421 or toll free at 800/323-9243, or email at hmccr1@uis.edu.
The fees for this course are $50 plus an additional $10 campus fee, for a total of $60.
Cancellation Policy
The University reserves the right to cancel any program. In the event of cancellation, you will be notified immediately, and all program fees will be refunded or applied to a future program at your request. If you must cancel a registration, you are entitled to a full refund only if you cancel prior to the first day of classes.
