The Toddler One room serves children ages 15 months to 2 years of age. Classroom experiences are centered around the children's emerging experiences. The environment is designed to serve as the role of "teacher" in that it is inviting and engaging to the children.
The children in Toddler One classes interact with the children in the Toddler Two room several times throughout the day. The children are then familiar with the peers and teachers they will have once they turn two years old and move up to the Toddler Two room.
The Toddler One teachers are Tamara Larcher-Keppler and Pamela Bass.
Tamara began working at Cox in November 2006. She holds an Associates Degree in Aplied Sciences-Child Care Services. She has over 16 years child care experience.
Pam began working at in February 2008. she has her Associates in Science Degree and has a Bachelors Degree from Governor's State Univeristy. She has several years of child care experience.

Our Toddler Two room enrolls children ages 2 to 3 years of age. Classroom experiences are centered around the children's growing interests. The classroom maintains a low student to teacher ratio (1:6 versus 1:8 as required by DCFS), allowing for both individual and group interactions.
The environment is designed to serve as the role of "teacher" in that it is inviting and engaging to the children. An emphasis of the classroom is focusing on developing each child's self-help skills, mainly potty training. One of the goals of the classroom is to prepare the children for a preschool experience.
The Toddler Two teachers are Ms. Freida Kieffer and Ms. Rosemary Senalik.
Ms. Freida has been with Cox since September 1988. She earned her Associates Degree in Early Childhood from Lincoln Land Community College.
Ms. Rosemary began working at the Cox Children's Center in May 2008. She has her Associates Degree from Springfield College. Rosemary has several years of early childhood experience.

The Toddler Three room serves children 3 years of age who are potty trained. The time spent in the Toddler Three room allows children an extra year to learn basic self-help skills and provides children with quality opportunities to interact socially with peers. The
Toddler Three teacher is Megan Conkrite.

Megan has been working at Cox since November 2005. She holds and Associates Degree in Applied Sciences from Lincoln Land Community College and has several years of child care experience.
