Stacey Gilmore, Director

Stacey has been with Cox since October 2001. Stacey received both a BS in Human Development and Family Studies (emphasis in child development) and MA in Human Development and Family Studies (emphasis in Early Childhood Administration) from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

 

Deb Hartz, Staff Clerk

Deb has been with Cox since March 1999. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Blackburn College in Written Communications along with 8 hours in early childhood courses from UIS.

 

Rosemary Shanle, Food Service

Rosemary began working at the Cox Children’s Center in May 2008. She has her Associates Degree from Springfield College. Rosemary has several years of early childhood experience.

 

Jenni Mayer, Float

Jenni has been with Cox since May 2013.  She has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education.  Jenni has worked for several years with small children.  Jenni will also be working with our Junior Scholars (school age summer camp).

 

Meagan McChristy, Float

Meagan started working at the Cox Children’s Center in March 2012 as a student worker. Meagan became a permanent staff member in March 2013. She is currently enrolled at UIS and majoring in Psychology.

 

 

Kendra Ayers, White Oaks Room

Kendra has been with Cox since October 2003. She received an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Springfield College. She holds a Bachelors Degree from University of Illinois-Springfield. She also has several hours of early childhood courses.

 

Abby Hynes, White Oaks Room

Abby has been with the center since January 2009. She began working at Cox Center as a student worker. She became a full time staff member in May 2010. She holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology and has many years of early childhood experience.

 

Megan McFall, Stars Room

Meagan started working at the Cox Children’s Center in May 2013.  She holds a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education from Eastern Illinois University.  Megan has many years of early childhood experience.

Tamara Larcher-Keppler, Stars Room

Tamara began working at Cox in November 2006. She holds an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences-Child Care Services. She has over 16 years child care experience.

 

Freida Kieffer, Cardinals Room

Freida has been with Cox since September 1988. She has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood.

 

Ashley Earles, Cardinals Room

Ashley has been with Cox since April 2012. She has a Bachelor Degree in Social Work and has many years of early childhood education experience.

 

Kristin Kruger, Lincoln Room

Kristin began working at the Cox Center in May 2008 as a student worker. Once she completed her Bachelor degree in Elementary Education, she became a full time staff member. Kristin brings with her many years of early childhood experience

 

Cathy Carlson, Butterfly Room

Cathy has been with Cox since August 2000. She has completed several courses at Lincoln Land Community College with 20 hours in Early Childhood Education.

 

Kristin Schattschneider, Butterfly Room

Kristin began working at the Cox Children’s Center in May 2008. She is currently working toward her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Teacher Education. She has many years of early childhood experience.
