2010 UIS Science Symposium

We had a great turnout for this year’s science symposium which was the 10th annual event.

We had many students involved from UIS as well as other regional universities presenting their research through talks and posters.

2010 Spring BBQ and Student Recognition

Each spring the department has a BBQ for the students, faculty and staff where we give a small gift to honor each of our graduating seniors. We also announce the winner of the General Chemistry Award.

Chemistry students are also encouraged to participate in fun and active social organizations, like the UIS Chemistry Club.
