Welcome, new faculty

Some 40 new faculty members will begin work this week at UIS. It's a tremendous addition of talent and energy. They will be able to say, years down the road, that they started the same year that UIS expanded its general education curriculum so that we could add more freshmen and become a full-fledged four-year university. Most of the new faculty begin officially August 16, and so I assume they're getting unpacked at home and getting organized at UIS. Welcome to all of you!
