About the 2009 “Foot in the Door” Fair

Welcome! The Career Development Center at the University of Illinois at Springfield is pleased to announce the 2009 “Foot in the Door” Fair, being held on Thursday, August 27, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Public Affairs Center Concourse on the UIS Campus. The “Foot in the Door Fair” is intended to bring students and employers/organizations together to discuss a variety of career opportunities, both on and off-campus, including part-time jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities. We have invited a wide variety of recruiters offering a broad range of available positions with local employers and organizations! We hope you will join us at this event and get your “Foot in the Door” to both on and off-campus opportunities!

Make sure your resume is ready!

Monday, August 24 - Wednesday, August 26th,
10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Get your resume ready for the Foot in the Door Fair. Visit the Career Development Center in SAB 50 between 10:00 and 1:00 on any of these days to get expert advice on your resume. Bring a paper copy of your current resume, or make sure you can access your resume electronically. There will be computers for students to work from.

A minimum dress code of business casual is highly suggested.
