The Department of Biology at UIS is currently not admitting graduate students in the Master’s Program. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the program.
The Master of Science degree in Biology offers a balanced curriculum through courses in two tracks: (a) molecular and cell biology, and (b) ecology, evolution, and environmental science. Masters’ research improves problem-solving and organizational skills, and advanced training in biology prepares students for successful careers in biology, natural resources & environment, and health & medicine.
