Peoria Police Department Student Internship Program
Students should submit completed (signed and dated) applications to the attention of Administrative Officer, Peoria Police Department, 600 SW Adams Street, Peoria, IL 61602. Illinois EPA's Office of Pollution Prevention recruits upper-level university students to work on pollution prevention (P2) projects during the summer. Students have been placed at manufacturing facilities, small business development centers, trade associations, local government facilities, environmental groups and military installations. The purpose of the program is to help facilities identify, research and pilot P2 technologies and practices. Application deadline is early October preceding the summer term.

Collegiate Leaders In Environmental Health:
Summer Undergraduate Internship 2008
Center for Disease Control CDC invites qualified applicants to apply for a ten week summer program for in Environmental Public Health at the National Center for Environmental Health /Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (NCEH/ATSDR) in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a 10 week paid summer internship for undergraduate students passionate about the environment, about health, and about the link between the two. This opportunity is for students majoring in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Studies, or related fields. Students will assist with projects and be paired with mentors in the field of Environmental Public Health. Visit the website at http://www.cdc.gov/nceh/cleh . The Governor's Environmental Corps (GEC) is a PAID summer internship program entering its 17th year. Interested students should apply by completing the online application found at http://www.epa.state.il.us/gec/ or pick up an application at the AST office BRK 482. Completed applications must be postmarked by March 28. Completed reference forms must be mailed separately by your reference contact and also postmarked by March 28.
