Welcome to UIS! Your first semester of your first year as a college student is full of excitement, hope, and unknowns. The UAAC is here to help you navigate your way through the new classes, new experiences, and new responsibilities. After submitting your acceptance of admission and deposit, your first contact will be with the UAAC to schedule Orientation and Fall Registration. These events launch your first semester experience and are vitally important to getting started on the right foot.
You will receive several pieces of correspondence in the spring prior to your first semester. Many forms need to be completed and returned in order to schedule your Orientation, schedule you for placement testing if required, secure your housing and financial aid, and make important decisions about your first classes. Take the time to read through these documents and note important deadlines.
