Students’ Scholarly Inquiry and Endeavors

UIS enhances students’ undergraduate educational experience and encourages their success and professional development by providing opportunities for student research. Students pursue this research under the direction of a faculty mentor. Your gifts will provide funding to offset the cost of research supplies and travel for students to present their research projects or papers at professional conferences.

Each year in April, UIS students have the opportunity to present their research and arts projects here on campus at the Student Technology Arts & Research Symposium (STARS). Please visit the STARS website for more information. Your gifts will also support this important event, which offers students the important experience of presenting their research in a professional setting.

You can use the Donate button above to make a gift to the Undergraduate Student Research Fund; feel free to add a note under Special Instructions if you would like your gift to support specifically the STARS Symposium.
