Dave and Jan Larson Management Information Systems Scholarship Fund (An ACCESS ILLINOIS Matched Scholarship)
Eugene R. and Elaine A. Wilkinson Scholarship Fund
This fund provides general support for the department.
Since 2012, Dr. James Hall, associate professor in the Department of Management Information Systems, has been the Hanson Professional Services Faculty Scholar. This position is made possible by a generous gift from Hanson Professional Services, Inc., headquartered in Springfield.
Dr. Dave Larson, a professor in the Management Information Systems Department, has created a current-use scholarship for Management Information Systems undergraduate students. The scholarship honors the memory of his late wife, Jan. Dr. Larson has pledged to renew the scholarship each year for five years, and because his gift meets the requirements for an Access Illinois match, his gift each year for the next five years will be doubled.
Fifty percent of the Wilkinson Scholarship Fund award will be used to provide scholarships to undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of Business Administration while another fifty percent will be used to provide scholarships to undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of Management Information Systems.
Not interested in any of the funds above? Then you can create your own named scholarship fund—either a current use scholarship or an endowed scholarship—that targets the students you specify in the Management Information Systems Department. As the principle donor of this new scholarship, you would get to name the fund and establish the selection criteria.
