Visit the UIS Campus
We offer special preview days for individual prospective students and their families including an academic fair, campus tours, lunch, and greetings from the Chancellor. If you are interested in bringing a group to visit our campus, please see our information about group visits.
Program Information and Reservations
All Preview Days are on Saturdays. The program starts at 10:00 a.m. and concludes at 2:00 p.m.
Please plan to arrive by 9:45 a.m. to check in and take full advantage of the day.

What if I Can't Make Any of the Dates?
If you can't make one of our scheduled Preview Days, call us to arrange for an individual campus visit tailored to your needs.
What if I want to stay overnight?
We are happy to host admitted high school seniors overnight in one of our residence halls. Please allow at least two weeks notice for arrangements to be made. We will make arrangements for you to stay with a current UIS student. You should plan to bring toiletries, a sleeping bag & pillow, and money for food and entertainment.
Please call our office to start the process and mail in the required Overnight Visit Waiver Form.
What if I want to bring a group to visit?
We are happy to make arrangements for groups of various sizes to visit our campus Monday - Friday. During your visit you can meet with an Admissions Counselor, tour campus, get information from Financial Assistance, and more. Call our office to arrange for a group visit to UIS tailored to your group's needs. Please allow at least two weeks notice for arrangements to be made.
