Sigma Beta Delta is an international honor society in business, management, and administration. Each year students from each program in the College of Business and Management are selected to join.
Sigma Beta Delta was founded in 1994 to encourage and recognize scholarship and achievement among students of business, management, and administration, and to encourage and promote personal and professional improvement and service. For business and management students who attend a college or university with a Sigma Beta Delta chapter, membership is the highest national recognition they can receive.
Dr. Leo Bin, assistant professor of Business Administration serves as president. Dr. Xiaoqing Li, assistant professor of Management Information Systems serves as vice-president and Dr. Nathan Steele, assistant professor of Management serves as secretary/treasurer of UIS’ Sigma Beta Delta Chapter.
