Carol
M. Jessup, associate professor of accountancy, was manager of the city
of Springfield’s finance department, an original staff member of the
state of Illinois’ GAAP project team, an economic analyst with the Illinois
Commerce Commission, and an internal auditor for the Illinois Capital
Development Board.
She is a CPA and received a B.A. and M.A. degree in accounting from Sangamon State University and a Ph.D. in business administration from St. Louis University.
She was an assistant professor of economics and business administration at Illinois College and has taught at Lincoln Land Community College and Springfield College in Illinois.
