UIS Allows You to Contribute to Existing Scholarships
You can make a gift of any size to a scholarship. For current-use scholarships, this means the student receives additional money because of your gift. For endowed scholarships, the principal of the gift increases so that the student recipient receives a larger award.
The UIS Development website has pages for colleges, departments, and other units with lists of funds that support each unit. If you want to support a scholarship for English students, for example, you would use the Choose a Fund on the Development homepage, scroll down to English on the page that comes up, and then choose what fund you would like to support.
To contribute to a matched scholarship, choose from this list of matched scholarships, and then use the Donate button to give safely online. For other scholarships, choose from this list of scholarships, and then use the Donate button to give safely online.
