Grievance Policy
On August 17, 1998, the chancellor approved a new faculty grievance policy submitted by a task force of faculty and administrators. Upon adoption, this policy became Appendix 8 of the UIS Faculty Personnel Policy.
A faculty member who believes he or she has a problem which could fall within these Procedures is directed by the Faculty Personnel Policy to discuss the matter with the Ombudsperson.
