The Office of Electronic Media, a unit of the Center for State Policy and Leadership, produces educational, public service, public affairs, training and informational programs on DVD, CD, video and audiotape and the Internet in support of the University's academic and public affairs missions. Live event coverage, satellite programming and multi-media programs are produce for the Center, UIS, state government, public television, Illinois educators, and community non-profit agencies. From statewide public service media campaigns, live webcasts to interactive DVD's, the Office of Electronic Media uses contemporary communication technologies to inform, educate and enlighten. The office maintains complete television and multi-media studios in the University's Public Affairs Center and provides practical learning opportunities in media production for UIS students.
