Campus Recreational Sports
UIS faculty and staff may purchase memberships for themselves and their spouses/partners at The Recreation and Athletic Center (TRAC). The state-of-the-art facility provides a variety of recreation and wellness opportunities:
- group exercise
- informal recreation
- instructional programs
- intramurals
- personal training
- special event hosting (e.g., Homecoming 5K, summer golf outing)
- student sports clubs
A valid UIS i-Card is required to use TRAC.
In addition to indoor TRAC facilities, Recreational Sports also manages multiple outdoor facilities, including a lighted sand volleyball court, two lighted full-court basketball courts, recreational sports fields, softball field, 9-hole disc golf course, and two horseshoe courts. Equipment is available for check out to TRAC members with a valid UIS i-Card.
