Legal Counsel
The University Counsel provides advice on University legal matters and maintains an office on each campus to handle legal matters affecting that campus. The University Counsel also investigates and handles claims under both the University Self-Insurance program and the University Workers’ Compensation program.
Functions of Campus Legal Counsel are to:
- serve as the legal advisor to the campus administrative officers and
- represent the campus in all legal proceedings unless otherwise provided.
