How to USe this Handbook
This handbook provides an overview of facilities, services, policies, and procedures as well as links to further information for both new and on-going employees at the University of Illinois Springfield.
The handbook is organized into major sections, with a table of contents within each section. A campus map and information about emergencies can be found at the beginning of the handbook. Link to handbook sections list
Where there is a reference to an appendix, it is in the Appendices section of this handbook. University-wide policies can be found at: http://www.vpaa.uillinois.edu/policies/.
Unless otherwise specified:
- the area code for phone numbers is 217; the prefix for campus phone numbers is 206.
- general hours of operation for campus offices are Monday – Friday, 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
