Students are responsible for being aware of the Academic Integrity Policy and for demonstrating behavior that is honest and ethical in their academic work.
Academic violations include plagiarism, cheating, misrepresentation, academic interference, unauthorized access, and facilitation. Violations of the Academic Integrity Policy may result in sanctions including failing the assignment, failing the course, transcript notation, or referral for Academic Hearing. Please ask the instructor of this course if you have questions regarding course expectations.
The Academic Integrity Council
The purpose of the Academic Integrity Council is to promote academic integrity at UIS by overseeing, evaluating, and facilitating implementation and understanding of the Academic Integrity Policy.
