The UIS Women and Gender Studies Program is proud of the following:

Students who are in the program because they are passionate about the subject
A team of brilliant faculty who teach in all four colleges and multiple disciplines
A Graduate Assistant who works intensely with the program and its students

Diverse courses covering all aspects of women’s history, literature, and social concerns
Courses that teach creative thinking and inspire women to choose careers that bring social change, or those careers traditionally held by men
