ClassPass Performances

Through the ClassPass discount ticket program, students can attend select evening and weekend events in Sangamon Auditorium’s Performing Arts Series at significantly reduced ticket prices. At least one teacher, administrator, school group sponsor, or faculty advisor must be in attendance with the group at the event.

ClassPass Ordering Information

Call the Sangamon Auditorium Ticket Office at 217.206.6160 or 800.207.6960 to reserve your seats. A teacher, administrator, school group sponsor, or faculty advisor must reserve ClassPass tickets through an Auditorium school account. No minimum ticket order is required.

You may reserve an estimated number of ClassPass tickets until the “final ticket count” deadline (three weeks prior to the event) with no deposit required. The best seats available upon receipt of your order will be reserved for your group. When you have the final group ticket count, contact the Ticket Office with your final numbers. You purchase only the number of ClassPass tickets you need. Payment must be received two weeks prior to the performance. If your order is not confirmed by the deadline, your seats will be released.

All sales are final. We are not able to give refunds or exchanges. No additional discounts apply. The ClassPass discount may not be applied to previous purchases. A $4 processing fee applies to each ClassPass order.

Recommended Grade Levels: Auditorium staff recommends grade levels based on the content, manner of presentation, and recommendations of the Class Acts Advisory Committee and the performers themselves. Teachers at other grade levels may consider bringing their students to a performance if they find the material suitable, but students more than three grade levels from those recommended may experience some dissatisfaction. ClassPass Attendance Information

At least one teacher, administrator, school group sponsor, or faculty advisor must be in attendance with the group at the event.

Accessibility Services: When placing your order, please inform the Ticket Office if anyone in your group is in need of accessibility services.  If advance notice has not been arranged, every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate your group based on remaining available seating upon your arrival.  Students with mobility, visual, or hearing impairments will be seated with their escort in the appropriate section of the auditorium.  This may be separate from the rest of the group.

We ask patrons to request accessibility services two weeks or more before a performance to provide sufficient time to make and secure the appropriate arrangements. Please note that services are not arranged until requested by ticket purchasers and that all services may not be available for every performance and are contingent on the availability of service providers.
