My name is Shonda White and I am a senior at the University of Illinois Springfield. I am majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice, and I am running for Internal-Vice President for SGA. I served as Internal-Vice President on SGA last year and it was an eye opening experience. I would like to continue in this position because I feel like I made a difference for the students last year with the help of the other members on SGA. Many people, who know me personally, know that I truly love UIS and I think it is a fantastic school to go to. What the students need on this campus is someone to listen to them and help apply changes that can benefit them and our university.
If I am elected Internal-Vice President of SGA, my goal is to make sure the students’ voices are being heard. I will do this by reaching out to students, and present their concerns at meetings and to administration. If you want someone on SGA that is there for the students, then I am the person you want to vote for! Vote me for Internal-Vice President if you want to see a change and for your opinions to be heard! We are here to benefit the students and that is what I will do for you!
