Lesley Kapraun
candidate for Senator for Transfer Students

            My name is Lesley Kapraun and I am running for senator for transfer students. I believe I can bring a lot of new ideas and relate to UIS students. I am a very reliable person and open to anyone’s opinions. At my previous college, I was vice-president and treasurer for a multi-cultural group that helped set up activates all over campus. I love working with others and coming up with events all over campus for students to enjoy. Some of the events I have worked on have been different dances, game days, and campaigns for students to vote, and ethnicity days. I am very passionate about making others happy and finding a way to figure out any conflicts. At UIS, I am majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Political Science. Being part of the UIS student government would open up opportunities in my career and strengthen the community at UIS.
