Hello! As the Senator for Public Affairs and Administration, I pledge to continue to advocate for my fellow studentsand monitor the quality of the college experience. I willbe a spokesperson, conveying theinterests andideas ofthe students to SGA and administration. I have attended UIS for my entire college experience and will be a graduate student next year, so I know who to talk to and how things work on this campus, and I will be a catalyst for positive change. During my time here, I have also been very active at the Capitol, which is essential for helping our university receive more money and programs, as well as our past due money. I have worked hard this past year as the Senator for the Public Affairs and Administration, as well as further representing students as the Undergraduate Representative for the Political Science Department and as the Student Representative for the Public Affairs and Administration Personnel Committee. I promise to always address the concerns and opinions of my fellow students to the best of my abilities. If I am elected, it is my goal to increase community knowledge of UIS, through a campus wide community service project and to facilitate a program to encourage a higher student participation in school activities. And I just want to let all of you students know . . . I’d catch a grenade for you!
