• Purpose of the Tenure Review Committee

This committee's initial meeting must be scheduled by November 9, 2010. Beginning mid-January, 2011 the committee begins individually reviewing tenure applications and portfolio information. This year there are 13 candidates for tenure. The committee then schedules a series of meetings to deliberate regarding each applicant (this may involve up to 2-3 hour deliberations per candidate). The committee is responsible for formulating recommendations to the Provost/Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs byFebruary 18, 2011.The purpose of the Academic Integrity Council shall be to promote academic integrity at UIS by overseeing, evaluating, and facilitating implementation and understanding of the Academic Integrity Policy (AIP).
