Registered participants will enjoy a full day of rehearsal and performance with UIS faculty, staff, and band members, and they will receive a free t-shirt, lunch, and admission to the UIS Tailgate Party and cookout.  Participation is free of charge provided registration materials are received by the registration deadline, Friday, September 19, 2008.  A $15 fee will be assessed to all registration forms received after the deadline.

8:30 – Welcome session and group rehearsal in VPA 33

9:45 – Sectional rehearsals

Noon – Lunch (provided)

1:00 – Sectional rehearsals

2:00 – Full band rehearsal outside in front of UIS Fountain

3:30 – Marching rehearsal

4:30 – break then move to parade line-up

5:00 – Performance in the UIS Homecoming Parade

5:20 (approx.) – Performance at the UIS Tailgate Party and Cookout

5:45 (approx.) – Dinner at the Tailgate Party and Dismissal

All participants, including percussion, must provide their own instruments (and lyres if needed) and transportation to campus. Music will be distributed as registration materials arrive. All participants will be provided with a free T-Shirt which will serve as our uniform for performances. Please wear comfortable shorts and tenni shoes / sneakers to complete the uniform.
