Management Program Marshals – 2012

Debra Sue Schmitz of Springfield, Illinois and Corey Matthew Curtis of West Peoria, Illinois were selected by Management faculty to serve as program marshals for the University of Illinois Springfield’s 41st commencement ceremony held on May 12th, 2012.

Management Student Award Winners – 2012

The following management students at the University of Illinois Springfield have received awards for excellence.

• Christopher Michael Stringer of East Peoria , Illinois is the recipient of the Management Program’s 2012″Highest Academic Achievement Award”. This honor recognizes the management graduate who has achieved the highest academic excellence in the program.
• Andrew T. Martin of Riverton, Illinois has been awarded the 2012″James C. Worthy Award for the Best Senior Paper” in the Management Program. This honor pays tribute to the late James C. Worthy, a charter member of the management faculty. Each year’s winner is selected by the faculty who teach the course “Strategic Management: The Capstone.”
