Graduate Assistant Mandy Altman
Mandy Altman is our Graduate Assistant, having been with us since August of 2012. She is currently in her second year with the Master’s of Public Administration Program and is obtaining her certificate in Nonprofit Management. After graduating, Mandy intends to pursue a career working in nonprofits and international development.
Mandy brings to us a diverse background, having traveled and worked in a number of countries around the world. This past summer was spent teaching leadership and teambuilding to university students in the Republic of Georgia, and the summer before she completed a 6-week internship working on a poverty alleviation program with the Ministry of Health and Social work in the West African country of The Gambia. Previously, Mandy had also spent over a year living and studying in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
