Blended learning
In 2007, UIS was awarded the prestigious Sloan Consortium Award for Excellence in Institution-Wide Online Teaching and Learning Programming. We want to build on our experience and reputation as national leaders by offering high quality blended learning programs. Blended degree programs represent a blending of the best online and face-to-face class sessions, within and across courses, in order to capitalize on the learning advantages of each mode of delivery. We hope that our blended degree programs will make it easier and less expensive for commuting graduate students to complete degrees in those fields at UIS.
We are pleased to announce that, beginning this year, the Department of Educational Leadership and the Department of Human Services will begin offering blended graduate degree programs. If you're interested in learning more about one of the blended programs, please contact the department chairperson for more information.
